Listening (L)

  • Understanding Everyday Conversations: Comprehend more detailed conversations about familiar topics, such as personal experiences, family, shopping, and work.
  • Following Instructions: Understand and follow multi-step instructions and directions.
  • Listening to Announcements: Grasp the main points in simple public announcements, such as those in airports, train stations, and stores. Understanding more complex audio materials, such as radio shows, podcasts, and interviews
  • Listening to Short Narratives: Follow short stories and narratives, identifying the main events and characters. Identifying the main idea and specific details in spoken texts


Speaking (S)

  • Describing Experiences and Events : Speak about past events, future plans, and daily routines with more detail.
  • Expressing Opinions: Give simple opinions and preferences on familiar subjects, such as likes and dislikes in food, movies, and hobbies
  • Making Comparisons: Compare people, places, and things using comparative and superlative forms.
  • Engaging in Conversations 
    • Participate in conversations about personal interests, health, and education, using a wider range of vocabulary and structures.
    • Engaging in debates and group discussions on familiar topics

  • Writing Personal Letters and Emails: Compose simple personal letters and emails, including invitations, thank-you notes, and apologies.
  • Describing Experiences in Writing: Write about past events, personal experiences, and future plans with more detail and coherence.
  • Filling Out Forms: Complete various forms, such as applications, registration documents, and questionnaires.
  • Writing Narratives: Create short narratives and descriptions, using appropriate connectors and sequencing words.
